Old Cattle Area (large area of rough grassland)
Bird-wise the park remains fairly quiet, as-is typical at this time of year. The most notable species were 3 Goldcrest, 1 Nuthatch, 1 Treecreeper, 2 Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Linnet flew west over the large area of rough grassland (the Old Cattle Area), a Chiff Chaff called, and a Blackcap could be heard singing in bushes at the top of Jenner's Bank.Gatekeeper
A Brown Hawker, a Southern Hawker, and a Common Darter were seen, and butterflies seen included lots of Gatekeeper, 3 Small Skipper, several Small and Large Whites were seen, 5 Meadow Brown, 2 Peacock, and 7 Common Blues were seen.
