Song Thrush
6 Goldcrests were noted, with 4 birds giving brilliant views, 4 Nuthatch were located, a Great Spotted Woodpecker showed well at the top of an Ash at the junction of the old Willington Street, 5 Jays were spotted, a pair of Mistle Thrush were hunting for worms on the area of short grassland by the Oak woodland, 2 Green Woodpecker were seen, a Chiff Chaff was seen and heard at the Claygate entrance, 3 flocks of Long-tailed Tit were seen, and a flock of 12 Redwing flew east over Cobtree Hall.
Robin
Birds of particular note on the Lake were 6 Great Crested Grebes, 3 Mute Swan, 8 Canada Geese, 7 Tufted Duck, 9 Pochard, and 4 Cormorants. The gull flock and playing fields produced large numbers of Black-headed Gull and Common Gulls. Along the River Len were 2 Grey Herons, 2 Kingfishers, and a Grey Wagtail.

Good for you. Sowing people birds is never easy on a day like today, It was bloody cold!
Looks like you had a reasonable day. Not sure if what I saw was a Chiffchaff so its not in my blog. Still haven't seen any Nuthatches over there, or the Owl.

Missed out on the walk Simon - good to see you saw some nice species in Tudeley Woods as weel.
