Hopefully I still have a few followers after such a long absence of posting!! Today I managed to visit the park!
Highlights included a few flocks of Siskin observed flying around the park, 1 Green Woodpecker was heard, and it was interesting to hear a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming along the River Len (3 were seen in total). 5 Goldcrests were heard singing, 1 Treecreeper was noted, and several Redwing were seen flying through.
Robin
Of note on the Lake were a selection of Pochards and Tufties, 1 Little Grebe, 5 Mute Swans, 2 Great Crested Grebes, and a Teal could be heard but wasn't seen. I could not locate the Whooper Swan, which had been reported to me during the week. Common Gulls and Black-headed Gulls were also gathered on the Lake.
