5 Goldcrests were noted, 2 Great Spotted Woodpeckers were heard - 1 of which was drumming in an Oak on Jenner's Bank - a Treecreeper was heard, 4 Green Woodpeckers were seen, 3 Nuthatch were heard, a few Redwing were seen, a Jay was heard, a Coal Tit was heard singing, Goldfinch were noted, and at least 14 Siskin were seen along the Len.
Of particular note on the Lake was a single male Teal, 3 Great Crested Grebes, 33 Pochard, 9 Tufted Duck, around 140 Black-headed Gulls, at least 18 Common Gulls, 5 Herring Gulls, 1 Grey Heron, and a Cormorant was perched on the island next to the Weir bridge. It is interesting to see the local Coots and Moorhens getting very territorial.
